Christa Cannon grew up an Air Force Brat, living and traveling across the world. Though the scenery changed often, her dreams of being a singer and actress never did. You may have been privileged enough to catch her on her very first National Tour - - her family knew she was destined for stardom when she sang to strangers from her bathroom stall at every rest stop between California and Georgia. It was every bit as magical as you imagine!
At the age of 12, she stepped out of the stall to become one of the first members of the Children's Opera Group in its fledgling seasons with the Orlando Opera Company. Christa has been in productions in England, Belgium, Germany, and several U.S. States. She has dabbled a bit as a model, but as time went by, discovered she had an equal passion to be in front of the camera as she did to be on stage. She now works primarily in film, TV, and voiceovers with the help of her agents.
Living a largely nomadic lifestyle throughout her career, she has enthusiastically met the challenges of breaking into new markets and production communities wherever she went. Other interests include afternoon naps, history, reading, writing, time traveling, and collecting as much useless information as she can in order to win every game of trivia. You can catch Christa, on rare occasions, re-creating the magic of her first tour - - cities and dates to be announced!
